Jill Pitz, harpist, received both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Harp Performance from the prestigious Indiana University School of Music where she studied with renowned Professor Emeritus Susann McDonald. Jill has performed for many weddings, receptions, corporate events and with local choirs and orchestras. She has played for notable entertainers such as The Who, Tony Bennett, Leann Rimes, and Barry Manilow amongst others. She recorded a CD of Ceremony of Carols with the Christ Church Cathedral Boys Choir and has released a Christmas album with Marjie Hanna on cello called The First Noel, available on Spotify, ITunes and YouTube. Together they have performed at the World Harp Congress. Jill offers private lessons at her home and is on the board of the USA International Harp Competition.
